Our client is seeking to engage the services of an experienced and suitably qualified Director Of Nursing to assume the responsibility for the effective management of all nursing personnel, the in-house systems and processes while maximising the funding income and operating within the budget parameters. This facility accommodates more than 150 residents in a very idyllic and peaceful setting in Tasmania. Reporting to the General Manager/CEO the successful candidate will be an active member of the senior management team and will be required to participate in the strategic planning and the continuous improvement processes to enable quality care to be consistently delivered while assisting the residents to achieve the quality of life they choose.    To be considered for this very satisfying and rewarding role the successful candidate will require the following:Current AHPRA registration as an RN and a current police check that does not preclude working in the Australian aged care setting.Extensive Australian aged care experienceExcellent understanding of the current Aged Care Accreditation Standards and extensive experience in managing the compliance related issues.Sound financial management skills and experience specifically in ACFI.Thorough and comprehensive exposure to individual care provision and the care planning processes.Comprehensive exposure in supervising and mentoring staff with successful outcomes.Fluent verbal and written and computer communication skills.The ability to develop and maintain a positive and mature working relationship with staff members, residents and their families An attractive/ competitive salary package including salary sacrificing will be offered to the successful candidate. 100000 AUD Australia - VIC Melbourne - All locations CBD & Inner Suburbs
